Northrop Highlights Global Security Capabilities at the Dubai Airshow 2009

LONDON: Northrop Grumman Corporation is participating in the Dubai Airshow 2009 where it will highlight its global security capabilities and programs, including its world leading expertise in airborne early warning and control systems, fire control radars and infrared countermeasures.
The Dubai Airshow 2009, the foremost aerospace event in the Middle East, will take place at the Airport Expo Dubai adjacent to Dubai International airport, from 15-19 November.
Northrop Grumman will be exhibiting at stand E200 in the East Hall, and the company's chalets are at A49 and A50. The mini-pavilion B8 is located in the static display area.

"As a leader in the aerospace and defence industry, Northrop Grumman remains distinct in being able to combine innovative technologies and business practices that address broad mission and enterprise capability requirements," said Jim Pitts, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman's Electronic Systems sector. "Our core technologies and investment strategies provide practical solutions that help assure military superiority, confront irregular warfare challenges and secure the commons."
Northrop Grumman offers many opportunities to help the UAE. The company has had an active presence in the Middle East for more than a decade with its regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and has well established partnerships with the UAE and other countries in the region in support of a variety of defence and civil programmes. In 2008, the company further expanded its industry footprint by opening an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
"Our core competencies are strongly aligned with the current and evolving global security priorities of our customers, including cyber security and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance," said John Brooks, vice president of international business development for Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Systems sector and president of Northrop Grumman International Inc. "Northrop Grumman provides unmatched surveillance capabilities, with clear strengths in unmanned and airborneearly warning technologies. Our customers in the Middle East demand the best, and it's our challenge to continue to meet and exceed their expectations."
Among the exhibits on display will be Northrop Grumman's world leading capabilities in airborne early warning and control. Featured will be the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye and 737 airborne early warning and control (AEW&C), multi-role electronically scanned array (MESA) radar.
The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye programme has modernized the E-2 weapon system by providing new, more powerful radar and other avionics systems to create an advanced AEW&C capability. In coordination with the U.S. Navy, an E-2C Hawkeye will be on static display, and an E-2 Hawkeye multi-media exhibit that showcases the benefits of the E-2D for military and civil applications will also be on display in the Northrop Grumman exhibit stand.
The MESA surveillance radar is an advanced airborne surveillance sensor and provides peninsular protection enabling sophisticated air-to-air and maritime coverage and integrated friend-or-foe identification. A computer demonstration of MESA capabilities and scale model of the array will be available for viewing.
Also highlighted will be Northrop Grumman's industry leading unmanned aircraft expertise. A full-sized model of the MQ-8B Fire Scout can be viewed in a mini-pavilion in the static display area. The Fire Scout is a Vertical Unmanned Aircraft System (VUAS) multi-role UAV that can carry various payloads, which provide unprecedented situational awareness and precision targeting support, ideal for land and navy forces.
Models of the F-16 AN/APG-68(V)9 mechanically scanned fire control radar, directional infrared countermeasures (DIRCM) and the Longbow Apache radar and Longbow Hellfire missile systems will also be on display.
Additionally on static display will be a U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS). Northrop Grumman's E-8C is the most advanced targeting and battle management system in the world. As an airborne battle management and command and control (C2) platform, the Joint STARS system conducts ground surveillance, enabling commanders to develop an understanding of the enemy situation, and to support attack operations and targeting.
The company's Italy-based subsidiary, Northrop Grumman Italia will display its state-of-the-art fibre-optic navigation systems. This will include the LISA-200, the Navex family of attitude heading reference systems and LN 251 / LN 270 high accuracy inertial navigation systems. These are in service on aircraft platforms in the U.S., Europe and Asia and are fitted to the Eurofighter Typhoon, the Tornado and BAE Systems Hawk.
Northrop Grumman Corporation is a leading global security company whose 120,000 employees provide innovative systems, products, and solutions in aerospace, electronics, information systems, shipbuilding and technical services to government and commercial customers worldwide.

Pakistani JF-17 A Thunder OR A Blunder

Pakistan has witnessed new defense acquisitions in this decade than any other, and in the center of it all is the new fighter which was designed by China with partial funding from Pakistan. It is formally known as JF-17 Thunder. When the fighter was in development, Pakistani online communities were jumping with excitement comparing it with its arch rival India’s modern combatants Su-30MKI, Mig-29S & Mirage-2000H. There were claims of it featuring western Radars and long range missiles, & Chinese ordering some due to its superior capabilities. But the reality is far from it. China having spent significant amount of money into a fighter which it is never going to use, most probably forced Pakistan to accept its avionics to offset some its development costs. Chinese who are known for their self reliance first and quality next, are further downgrading JF-17s capabilities with their poorly copy-pirated avionics. Along with their dubious weapons, any chance of JF

Mossad & CIA Committed 9-11: Italian President Francesco Cossiga

Source: http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?read=114778 Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga, who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio, has told Italy’s oldest and most widely read newspaper that the 9-11 terrorist attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad, and that this was common knowledge among global intelligence agencies. The evidence that Mossad planned 911 using Arab patsies is overwhelming; Mossad were caught filming the attack from Liberty Park and then later said on Israeli TV that they were sent there to document (they along with nearly 200 Mossad were rounded up and sent back to Israeli in the weeks following the attack, preventing the FBI from questioning them). Only 5 Israeli's died in the WTC attack; 3 on the airplanes and 2 in the buildings. It is a fact unexplainable by Zionists apologists that Idigo, and Israeli messaging service sent a warning in Hebrew worldwide that a terror attack would happen in a few hours on the da

India Planned Attack On Pak Navy Mehran Base To Kill Chinese Engineers

The terrorist attack on Karachi's Mehran Naval Station on May 22 was conceived and launched by India with the primary objective of killing the Chinese engineers present there, a Pakistani newspaper has claimed, citing 'informed sources'. Four to six Taliban terrorists had entered PNS Mehran on May 22, destroying two maritime surveillance aircraft and killing ten military personnel during their 17-hour siege of the naval air base. "India is the only country in the region that feels troubled by the Pakistan Navy, which had awfully beaten the Indian Navy in Operation Dwarka of 1965. Since then, it has been an earnest desire of India to harm the Pakistan Navy but it was perhaps not possible on the battle front, hence it struck the PNS Mehran," The News quoted sources as saying.
