According to a news report in AFM, in early January the PAF's Electronic
Warfare Tactical Training Range (EWTTR) was officially opened. Situated
31 miles from Sargodha Air Base, where the Combat Commanders School
resides, the PAF is now rotating all it's combat units through the base
in two-week detachments to increase pilot's tactical proficiency.
This
will continue until August when the units will get a chance to practice
their newly learned skills before being tested late in the year in a
major exercise. One of the first two units to enjoy the EWTTR was No.27
Squadron (Night Hawks) with it's Mirage-VEPs from Rafiqui and No.2
Squadron F-7Ps from Masroor.
